- ICOM to charge for subsequent repairs to the

- Subject: Occasionally at power up the LOGIC A unit will im-
- properly initialize. The result is either a
- dashed line or garbled numbers in the frequency
- display.

- Information: The following modification makes changes in the
- CPU initialization time constants.

- Procedure
-
- 1. Disassemble the radio unit and locate the main logic board.
-
- 2. Remove R100 a 100 ohm MCR10 and replace it with a 33K MCR10
- (ICOM P/N 915-04793).
-
- 3. Remove R103 a 4.7K MCR10 and replace it with a 33K MCR10
- (ICOM P/N 915-04793).

- 4. Reassemble the radio and test.
